Vibram FiveFingers Bikila

 The FiveFingers Bikila is a running-specific Vibram FiveFingers (VFF) model being released in spring 2010.  The Bikila brings a brand new sole design to the Vibram line that includes podded Vibram rubber, a small amount of EVA that is thickest under the ball of the foot, an Achilles notch, and a few other additions (such as reflective material on the strap and heel) that make the Bikila ideal for running on roads.

The Bikila is named in honor of 1960 Olympic marathon winner Abebe Bikila who won the race running barefoot and set a world record for the marathon at the time.

The Bikila will be available for both men and women and comes in various color combinations.
