An open-weave synthetic mesh upper is included to promote ventilation and breathability, offering lightweight protection alongside a padded collar and tongue. Heel-to-toe weight transfer is improved via a full-length transition bridge, maximizing the ergonomic nature of the shoe for smooth, uninhibited response. For those athletes who prefer to train in the evening, the Ride also features a set of reflective detail strips that help to attract and redirect light for improved pedestrian visibility. In addition, a hard rubber outsole is provided to ensure that the shoe does not begin to wear prematurely, reinforcing those areas that are most prone to structural damage.
