Nike Zoom Equalon 4
$135.00
Released November, 2009
The Pros:Very soft cushioning to run in, feet don't ever get sore. Locks the heel down well for a stable landing. Toebox is nice and roomy, doesn't make you feel constricted.
The Cons:Some find them too soft, and that they have to work against the shoe to move. Materials feel a little cheap in spots, collar is a little thin.
The Nike Zoom Equalon+ 4 is a running shoe aimed at runners with moderate to severe overpronation. Several features work together to make the shoe more stable, including a segmented crash pad, added support on the lateral side, overlays, arch support, and an arch strap.

To balance the support structures and make the shoe more comfortable, Cushlon ST foam is used in the midsole and Nike Zoom units are inserted in the heel and forefoot. Blown rubber is used in the forefoot to absorb impact, and flex grooves in the sole make the shoe move with the wearer.
