New Balance MR859
$110.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Good stability, controls the foot's landing and allows you to stay stable throughout the cycle. Feel comfortable right away, no need to break them in. Feel light and airy, good breathability keeps your feet feeling cool and dry.
The Cons:Run at least a half-size short, may need to even go a whole size up. Toe box is cramped and tight. Mostly made of plastic that wears out fairly quickly.

It has an Acteva premium lightweight midsole that resists compression and utilizes an N-Lock external support system which pulls the shoe snugly around the foot for better support. The shoe also has an anti-microbial Ortholite foam insert and a seamless phantom liner for a comfortable fit.
The outsole of the MR859 is made of N-Durance rubber compound for strength and durability and includes Sure Lace to keep the laces secure during activity. It also features a full-length Abzorb strobel board and Abzorb SBS cushioning in both the heel and forefoot for maximum shock absorption.
