The New Balance MR8511 is a running shoe that is designed to provide shock absorption and responsiveness for competitive runners.  The shoe features a synthetic/mesh upper and a dual density collar for cushioning and support.

  It has an Acteva premium lightweight midsole that resists compression and includes NB Zip controlled cushioning in the heel for increased responsiveness.  The outsole of the MR8511 is made of N-Durance rubber compound for strength and durability and it has a blown rubber forefoot which provides lightweight cushioning.  It includes a removable Abzorb cushioning insert and Abzorb cushioning in the forefoot for high shock absorption.  The shoe also uses a ghille lacing system to further support the foot and has reflective detailing for safety while running at night.  The MR8511 comes in a variety of colors including black/silver, silver/blue, and white/silver and is also available in a women's model, the WR8511.
