The New Balance MR769 is a running shoe that is designed to provide cushioning and moderate stability to runners. The shoe utilizes a TS2 transitional support system and features a synthetic/mesh upper with a stability web which supports the midfoot while allowing it to be lightweight.

It has an Acteva premium lightweight midsole that resists compression and utilizes an N-Lock external support system which pulls the shoe snugly around the foot for better support. The shoe also has an anti-microbial Ortholite foam insert and a seamless phantom liner for a comfortable fit.
The outsole of the MR769 is made of N-Durance rubber compound for strength and durability and includes Sure Lace to keep the laces secure during activity. The entire midsole of the shoe is made of Abzorb FL cushioning and it includes a full-length Abzorb strobel board, and Abzorb cushioning in both the heel and forefoot for maximum shock absorption. The shoe comes in a silver/blue or white/yellow color and is also available in a women's model, the WR769.
