The Pros:Excellent support at the arch and throughout the foot, keeps the foot relaxed. Very light, don't weigh you down or hold you back. Good enough cushioning for being on your feet all day.
The Cons:Shoes are built fairly narrow, inappropriate for some foot shapes. Seams aren't very durable, wears out fairly easily.
The Asics GT-2140 is a running shoe that improves upon a very popular Asics design. The Impact Guide System (I.G.S.) has linked componentry that enhances the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off and the Space Trusstic System creates a pocket between the Trusstic System device and midsole for a more controlled midsole deformation and more efficient foot function.

The DuoMax support system helps further ensure the shoe maintains proper support for the foot during the heel strike to toe-off transition. The GEL cushioning system attenuates shock during impact phase and toe-off phases while the Solyte midsole material is lighter than typical EVA and SpEVA soles and gives improved cushioning and durability. The ComforDry sockliner gives added cushioning while providing a cooler, drier, healthier envirnoment for the foot. The Asics GT-2140 come in a wide assortment of widths and men's models are available in White/Black/Flame, Lightning/Onyx/Electric Blue, Onyx/Black/Lightning and White/Liquid Silver/Black while women's models are available in White/New Navy/Blush, White/New Navy/Blush, Onyx/Black/Lightning and White/White/Orange.
