It features Asics' GEL cushioning system in the rearfoot which absobs shock in the heel. The GEL-Strike 2 also includes an AHAR heel plug for enhanced durability at initial impact and has a solid rubber outsole for durability and traction. The shoe is available in both men's and women's designs and has a suggested retail price of $55.
