The Pros:Excellent impact absorption throughout the sole, forgiving for tired form. Perfect for neutral runners or those who suffer from supination. Sole is durable enough to handle lots of abuse.
The Cons:Looses some energy due to cushioning system, won't move as fast. Not enough arch support for those with high arches. Laces will not stay tied when they get wet.
The Asics GEL-Pulse is a new addition to Asics vaunted line of cushioned trainers and is ideal for the neutral to mild over-pronator. Rearfoot GEL cushioning system provides shock attenuation in the heel while the AHAR heel plug helps enhance durability at initial impact.

The SpEVA midsole gives durability and added shock attenuation. The lightweight DuraSponge outsole gives superior durability and added cushioning and Trusstic System gives a more efficient foot function. The Asics GEL-Pulse men's model is available in White/Royal/Silver, White/Silver/Black and Black/ Black/ Silver while women's models are available in White/Raspberry/Lightning, White/Medieval/Lightning and Black/Onyx/Hot Pink.
