The Pros:Enough support for very high arches. Comfortable and maneuverable during gym workout routines. Good enough cushioning for walking around all day, keeps your feet from getting sore.
The Cons:Too neutral for severe over or under-pronators. Style is fairly typical, doesn't look interesting or impressive in any way.
The Asics GEL-Maverick 2 is a basic running shoe from Asics' Cushioning lineup for underpronators and mild overpronators. The shoe is designed to provide a high level of shock attenuation and is recommended for low-mileage runners.

It features Asics' GEL cushioning system in the rearfoot which absobs shock throughout the gait cycle. The GEL-Maverick 2 also includes an AHAR heel plug for enhanced durability at initial impact and has a compression molded EVA midsole that provides lightweight cushioning and support. The shoe is available in both men's and women's designs and has a suggested retail price of $50.
