The Cons:Design sacrifices support for cushioning and flexibility, lowering general response and power transferrence. Arch support strongly reduced compared to other Asics shoes. Upper construction materials tend to crack with wear.

The GEL-Enduro 5 is a running shoe from Asics' Trail series for off-road training.  The shoe features Asics' GEL cushioning system in the rearfoot for shock absorption during impact.

  It utilizes trusstic technology which links the rearfoot and forefoot for stability.  The GEL-Enduro 3 includes an AHAR heel plug which provides durability during initial impact and has a slip lasted design, making it lightweight and flexible.  It also has a compression molded EVA midsole for shock attenuation throughout the gait cycle.  The shoe is available in both men's and women's designs and has a suggested retail price of $65.
