Adidas Supernova Riot

$99.00 Released January, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Good response and comfort combination for long walks. Very breathable, allow heat to escape and wick away moisture. Black and bright color combinations are striking, look great.

The Cons:Not overly plush or soft to walk in. Laces tend to slip, need a double knot to stay tied.

The Adidas Supernova Riot is a shoe intended specifically for trail running, and based on the design of the flatland Supernova lineup. The design emphasizes the use of the ForMotion feature, which is supposed to allow the sole to adapt to most types of terrain.

Where to Buy

Like the other Supernova shoes, it has a close-fitting heel and mid-region liner without seams, and has a molded, snug and supportive midfoot section - this is, ideally supposed to prevent overpronation (the foot curling inward) while running. The outsole is built to provide optimal traction. The last on which the shoe is built is itself supposed to be both durable and comfortable. The Riot is slightly heavier than the other Supernova models, but this is because, again, it is meant for use on all kinds of outdoor terrain.
